Hello Again

Friday, June 27th, 2008

As you may have noticed, I haven’t blogged in a good long time.

Why? Well, as I usually say, I’ve been busy….. very busy.

So, I’m going to give you a quick update on what I have and will be doing.

I lost my wallet…..

This is a big problem.

Contents of wallet:

License/photo ID

Credit-card

Social-security-card

Important business-cards

Library-card

Money/Cash

Without my photo ID, I can’t go to college, ha, sorta makes sense.

Without my credit card I can’t really buy anything (thank goodness I at least have my checkbook).

Not having my social security card is ……not cool……

I need the phone numbers off of some of those business-cards (I know, I should have programmed their numbers in my blackberry).

Library-card…. I haven’t been there in fr’ever so who cares.

Cash…. I need that monies.

I’ve looked high and low for that thing…. but still, nothing comes up.

So, it looks like I’ll have to call the bank for another bank-card, call the local social security office for another social security card, take my passport into the DMV, and…. there’s not much more I can do for the rest of the stuff.

Moving on….

My grandpa came from AK and stayed with us a few days; it was great to see him. He is a very talented musician. While he was here, he taught us how to play different songs on our keyboard and broken guitars. It was a lot of fun because we were all making sense… that is, the music actually sounded….. good. Guitar is great but nothing beats the bass. I’ve always wanted a bass; it’s one of the two instruments I’ve *always* wanted to play (the other being the drums), ha. By the way I played the guitar, we could sorta tell that the bass was in fact the instrument for me. Sooooo…. we went out and I bought a bass……

Yep, that’s right, I bought a 5 string Ibanez GSR205, an excellent bass!

It’s a candy-apple-red with black accent wood grains. It plays so smooth… man, it’s awesome. I bought my bass on 06/26/08 – so…. Tuesday.

:D

After buying it, we all went back home. Levi jumped on the piano, Luke – the guitar, Grandpa – my guitar and I sat down with my new bass …oh, and Julie had the other little guitar. Wow, that was fun. We were all playing together and it sounded really good. Grandpa showed each of us our rolls for certain songs and we all sorta “found the beat”.

We played:

Pink Panther

Songs About Rainbows/Rainbow connection

Golden Eye theme song

And a few more

In the last 3 days, I’ve learned how to play the Mario theme song (fun), LOTR theme song, My City Was Gone, And I’m working on a few more. I’ve been practicing a lot. It is by far the coolest instrument. Any of you play bass? What songs have good bass solos? Any suggestions?

Here are some pictures:

That is a nice bass!

Look at its color!

See the black wood grain?

I love the perspective and lighting on this one.

Hello…..

For all you camera geeks out there criticizing my camera…… you’re right, your cell camera is probably better. :D

Good brand.

Look here:

Thanks Grandpa for helping me pick out the perfect bass.

It’s Grandpa!

And now for some random pictures:

Luke props her up like that…. so funny……..

Blue Ridge pkwy….

Smoky Mountains….

And that’s it!

Later!

A Quick Picture Post!

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

Hello,

Thanks for all the great comments! I really do appreciate them all. Sorry I am so bad about replying.

Anyhow, here’s a few pictures of Sani and a fun “field trip” that we went on today…

See anything new?

Anything?

There’s something different about Sani…….

Keep looking…

Even though the walker IS new, I’m referring to something different about Sani.

Hahaha, that’s funny. Sani likes the camera! :P

ok, I might as well tell you…

I think she’s intrigued with the continuous bright flash from the camera.

No more flash. :D Ok, ok, I’ll show you…

See now? Sani got her ears pierced! (yay!)

Very nice…

:D

Here are a few with her new clothes! (Mom likes eBay)

Yes, that is a hat… I call that outfit her “Cabbage-Girl” outfit. :P

Two little ladies

HahahahAHa! That’s a funny picture of both of them.

Chowin’ down! (the girl never stops eating)

Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed those. Here are some pictures of our “field trip”. :P

We went to…

Yep! The headquarters to the very best ice cream!

It really was the best ice cream I’ve ever had.

They have candy,

…very good coffee,

…good workers,

delicious creamy stuff….

That being, excellent “homemade” ice cream!

Oh, and I forgot to mention…

The ROBOT! :P Yes, the ice cream robot…

It has a pretty neat touchscreen computer where you can program what kind of sundae you want. You can choose what kind of ice cream, candy, syrups/sauces (in some models), you want in your sundae.

So, what’s your mood? You want a hand scooped ice cream or a robo-custom sundae. It’s up to you!

This is how it works…

First, it fills the first layer with ice cream. This picture is was taken when the robot was loading the last layer.

Second, it moves under the according pipe that you programmed.

These funnels here store the toppings and when the robot arm moves under the pipe, the funnel releases the toppings.

And after the serve up…

Wala! A robot made ice cream. :P

The place was big, artsy, and clean.

Yeah, it was pretty neat. By the way, the owner is a homeschool dad with six kids. Right here in my tri-cities area we live in. My parents were talking business with them today - these guys are selling franchises. TOS is doing an article in the summer issue about them. Beav got to take some pics for the magazine.

Leave me a few comments! I’ll try to reply to them as soon as possible. I’ve been insanely busy lately. Trying to get an AWESOME site launched and preparing for college, ugh. I’m excited about college but it’s going to eat up a lot of time.

Time, something I have very little of…

Thanks everyone, laterooski…

Wooohoo!

Be excited everyone! I’m switching to a new domain http://www.paulsneverendingramblings.com. The site isn’t up yet, but I hope to be blogging more with my new skateboard grunge template! Oh, and check out my awesome friend Eric’s blog. He has a really cool post on there!

Paulie

Wow, Golly, Thanks Guys…

Monday, March 24th, 2008

I can’t blog long, but, I just wanted to thank you all.

Thanks for the comments.

Thank you so much Amanda, for hacking my blog… haha, I mean, for posting that birthday entry.

Jocelyn, the pillow case you made me is, flat up AMAZING!

You all have to see this pillow case. Jocelyn sewed Tux onto it, ha! I’ll blog a picture of it soon.

My party was unbelievable. We played some… a lot, of computer games, ha, ate a ton of great food (thanks Mom!), and tossed the football and Frisbee around quite a bit. Tim was giving me all these throwing tips. He used to be on a Frisbee team. They stunk big time, sorry Tim, more on that later. :P

Tim posted a few pictures of the party. You should check them out.

Amanda made the most spectacular cake!!! It was chocolate/caramel cake with real whipped cream frosting and white chocolate bars placed randomly all over. The coolest part though, was an image of Tux up on top! The cake was incredible.

I’ll be really busy this week so I’m not sure I’ll be blogging all the details so soon. I’ll try to squeeze some time in.

Ok, I’m out for now.

Thanks again for the great time, everyone.

Happy 18th Birthday, Dude!

Can you believe it? I’m blogging; shocked?

Yeah, well, this is really something to blog about… read on…

I’m writing from the Country Inn in Florida. We (as in the entire family) left home on the 5th for the NSSEA convention, which started yesterday and ends tomorrow. The NSSEA is a convention for education. It’s commonly called the “Ed Expo” and is my favorite convention to attend (for reasons I will state in a moment). It’s also one of the most exhausting! The whole convention was held in one massive room, which was the size of, hmm, if I had to give an educated guess, I’d have to say over 5 acres. Yes, the convention room was well over 5 acres. Probably closer to something like, 8 square acres. Anyhow, you get the idea; it was a very large room. And walking up and down those long, long aisles, really wore us (“us” being Dad, Luke, and I) out fast, as I’m sure you could imagine. So, we worked the first day, came back to the hotel where Mom and the younger kids were, ate pizza, and went to bed. Then, today we got up at 6:30 and spent the day hard at work. There’s certainly nothing “exciting” about that. So what did I mean by “my favorite convention”? Well, the NSSEA always throws a HUGE bash at the end of the second day, which was tonight. Let me tell you, it was one of the most spectacular nights I’ve ever experienced…

This year, NSSEA and SeaWorld worked out some kind of deal; basically, we all got in free. And SeaWorld set up an entire section just for us. First, we had dinner. The food was excellent! Then, we all made our way over to a MASSIVE auditorium with a very large water tank where this expert guitarist (btw, he was one of the best sweepers I’ve ever seen… errrrr… heard. He really knew what he was doing) played while we watched killer whales perform quite the show. These whales would jump clean out of the water with a diver standing on the tip of its nose! Like I said, and I’ll say it again, the music was awesome. :P

Simply said, it was exciting. After that was finished, we walked over to another location, where we all gathered around this magnificent lake. There, we watch an excellent show that was displayed on a… mist wall! Seriously, they had huge fountains and a massive (I know I keep using that word but that’s really the only way to describe it) spout that shot tons and tons of mist into the air in a condensed area. There was so much mist, they were able to display, with a projector, a beautiful production on the mist wall and accompanied it with a wonderful fireworks display. The whole thing was very exciting. More exciting than it seems; trust me.

Just as we were leaving some artists drew some funny pictures of the kids. I’ll post them soon. And little Susanni did very well. She enjoyed it just as much as I did, I think…

I’ll post some pictures of her later. She’s gotten a bit bigger since the last pictures and she is totally trying to talk now, so cute.

So, here it is now, the end of the day. I am extremely tired. So, I’m afraid I’ll have to end it here without giving further details on the day. I’m just really tired, ha.

Everything was so great but I heavily regret forgetting the camera. I left it in the car. :P

Anyhow, I just wanted to update you all on our trip. We’ll be back in TN soon. Just after we eat at our favorite restaurant, no where to be found in TN, Cheveys! When I get home, I’ll write about the rest of the trip, which of course, has not yet taken place. Yeah, ok, it’s late…

Nighters!

Hmmm, it’s been a while.

Thank you for all of your comments. I really appreciate reading them. And I hope to reply to them all ASAP.

Mom said I ought to add this in, Ha!

What’s up with the Eeyore? Well, just read on. Haha…

Well, as I usually say, “I’ve been pretty busy.”

Sadly, I haven’t found much time for blogging. I’m (as you’ve probably noticed) pretty bad at blogging actually. We’ll (my family) go off and do something fun and I’ll take a million pictures planning to blog them and when I get home, I don’t. I’m not sure why. Sorta a bummer though. I guess it’s the time that it takes to load all the pictures and sit down to write an entry. I can rarely think of what to say and the whole production runs ten times slower on this blasted machine. Yes, I need a new computer.

I’m not so sure having a new PC would really fix my blogging or the the lack thereof.

You all are pretty good, faithful bloggers. You stick with it pretty consistently. Not me…

I like writing but blog entries don’t just “come to me” like they seem to do with Eric Novak or the Dixons or whomever, hahahhaha. It’s not that my life is so boring that I just don’t have any content. I’ve got plenty to write about. Just, no way of getting around to it. Simply scan through my last few entries. Ha, I always forget about uploading the videos that I promise or sticking through with a post that I was planning to do. Like, remember the “Tribute to my Dad” contest? I was supposed to write one and never got around to it. I actually PLAN on doing that soon. I know it’s REALLY late. Ha, but I still “owe” it.

Blogging is fun… sorta… but has just never really been “my thing”. Which, I guess, is too bad. I have a lot of web work and I keep getting burnt out and stressed over it too easily. The longer I’m offline, the further I get behind, but when I get online to work I just get further frustrated. I know, it’s really lame. So, all that to say, I don’t really see myself blogging too much more. I’ll keep you all updated on the fam and post the occasional blog every few weeks (like I already am) but until I get another computer, I don’t see myself spending much time on the blogs. One of the sites I’ve been working on for so long has been such a huge problem. It has been making me absolutely crazy. It’s really lame I know, but I get so frustrated so easily. Haha, you have no idea (Mom tells me that when I was really little, I would cry because I could not tie my own shoes). I’m going to give up on it and set it aside for some time. I’ve got some other sites and projects I’d like to start anyhow. Who knows how those will turn out though. I’m not sure why but almost everything I try to do just about fails. I dump a lot of time and work and money into something and it goes nowhere. I guess this is just “how it is” when starting your own business. I’m just about out of money too. I was actually thinking I’d be better off working at Starbucks or something but now I’m not so sure. Maybe God wants me to put more effort into it and stop whining. Ha, I’m not really sure. I guess BlogStatter.com was sorta a success (so far). I never did write the official “BlogStatter.com is now up!” entry. I guess I forgot. Well, here it is, BlogStatter.com is up and running. Go over there and sign up if you haven’t already. If there’s anything different you’d like to see added to BlogStatter.com, just let me know. I hope to draw some form of income off of it soon. I (at least) am making some money from HSB. But even doing HSB tech has been tough and it wasn’t when I first started. It’s so weird ‘cause I used to really love doing it and I still do. It’s actually a lot of fun but I’m falling behind on it and it’s forcing Eric (my co-worker for HSB Tech) to pick it up and do more than his share. He’s never said a word about it and he’s such a great friend to do it but I do feel bad and I need to start working on it more. I need to set priorities I guess. I need to take out the frustrating, work-intensive, unproductive, stuff from my schedule. Like get a new computer, put aside the frustrating site, and focus on the jobs that I’m actually getting paid to do. You’re probably wondering what this “frustrating site” is that I’m talking about. Ha, well I might as well tell you:

OnlineGeekStore.com!

I got the site up and running, FINALLY! And it looks great (thanks to my good friend, Joe McLean) but that’s about it. I’m having a big problem getting it to accept credit-cards. Yes, I tried Paypal, and Authorize.Net was a mess. So, now I’m looking at Paypal again. We’ll see. But even when that’s set up, where am I going to get my products? I need something to sell; yet, I have nothing. So, if you have any geek related products for sale, let me know and I’ll put ‘em up on OnlineGeekStore.com. :D

So there you have it. One of the two sites I said I wouldn’t make publicly known ‘til it was all set up is the above-mentioned. But, like I said, I’m putting it to rest for a while. Another site that really isn’t going anywhere is ShatteringWindows.com. ShatteringWindows.com was my first site. Joe helped me a ton with that one. But unfortunately, even though it is my first site to start, I think it’s going to be the last I’ll finish. I don’t really know what to do with it anymore. Ha, which stinks. I need to make something that will actually return the money that I put into it. But isn’t that the goal for any business? I guess I have to stick with it. Building sites and businesses is probably this frustrating for everyone.

Anyhow, this entry is shaping up to be pretty pointless and even rather disturbing (?) so I think I’ll change the subject.

A number of days ago I went to the chiropractor so I could get my back tweaked. While I was sitting in the waiting room Mom emails my BlackBerry, forwarding an email from Spunky (Karen Braun). Mrs. Braun was telling Mom about this political gathering that was going to take place in Detroit (where she lives) in just a few days. She was trying to convince Mom to drive up there. “But we would have to leave tomorrow to get there in time!” Mom said. Well, a “Mom and Dad talk” and a few emails later we decided that we’d pack up that night and head up that way first thing in the morning. Now, we’re not extremely political but we thought it would be a good homeschool field trip, especially since Mitt Romney and McCain were going to be there. Fortunately the Dixons live right around the half way point. So Mom emailed the Dixons and said “So, what are you doing tomorrow night?” and Mrs Dixon replied, “Hopefully making dinner for you all???” Haha! That was a pretty funny response. So, without officially saying so, we all planned on staying overnight with the Dixons and then heading up to Michigan. The Dixons have already blogged about our stay but I’ll just give you my version.

So, like I said, we all loaded our suitcases and packed the trailer up and planned to leave at 4:00 AM the next morning. Then we all got up and left according to plan at 10:00 AM. Oh, did I say 4:00 AM? Well, Dad’s alarm clock thought we all needed a few more hours of sleep. ;)

Anyhow, we pulled out at 10:00 AM and got to the Dixons’ at, I think, 10:30 PM. Why did an 8 hour trip take us 12 and a half hours? Well, a smooth mixture of stopping off at every other Starbucks (Mom wanted me to check my BlackBerry GPS for all the Starbucks in every town, hahahaha), changing/feeding Susanna, and of course the regular gas fill-ups/meals/bathroom breaks. But 12 and a half hours into our road trip, we finally made it and got settled in. That night, Amanda asked me to fix something on her blog. She wanted to access something that got left behind when we transferred her blog over to her family server. Anyhow, in order to access the content, I had to make her current blog read a different address. I didn’t think this would be a problem (famous last words!). It would just make her blog unreadable for the time we were working on it and then I could switch it back to normal. Well, the site-software (WordPress) did something very evil and wicked to me. It locked the site to a different server (mine) and wouldn’t switch back. It demanded some ridiculous cookies which I knew were not necessary. Oh well, all it did was make SuperAngelsBlog.com default to ShatteringWindows.com. Hey, I could use the extra traffic.

Hahaha, well, that didn’t go so well with Amanda. LOL, she definitely wanted everything fixed… NOW! Ha, fortunately, she only had three entries on there; so when I told her we’d have to format the site, she responded with only life threatening words.

:D

I knew what we had to do but there was NO WAY we were going to be able to do it on their dial up. Ha, so I called up good ol’ Eric whom I could count on being up at that 5:00AM hour. And he deleted SuperAngelsBlog.com and reinstalled the site. By the time we were finished it was 6:30 AM and Dad had told me to get him up at 8:00 AM. So I wasn’t sure if I should stay up and help Amanda repost her pages ‘til 8:00,AM or just go to bed and take a one-hour power nap and then get Dad up. Levi and Jocelyn were watching some Batman show and it seemed like they were just going to stay up indefinitely. Although, Jocelyn looked pretty far gone. Not really sure if she made it or not. I figured, since I’d have to be somewhat awake for when we meet the Brauns, I’d better take that power nap. So I slept for an hour which felt like 5 minutes and then got Dad up so he could make breakfast (he makes REALLY yummy omelets). I then checked on Amanda’s progress. She had gotten just about everything up and back to normal (YAY!). BTW – I’m really sorry about that! It’s all WordPress’s fault! :P

After packing things up and saying good-bye, it was time to leave. So we hit the road and got to Detroit at a somewhat good hour. I was pretty drained. I had two Starbucks drinks and a big energy drink and still was falling asleep just standing up! We got to our hotel, freshened up, and headed for the Brauns’ place. When we got there, Mrs. Braun was home but all the kids and Mr. Braun were at the ice rink. So we ate some yummy stew that she made and sat down to talk and wait for the rest of the family. While we were waiting, Mrs. Brawn asked me to start a fire in her fireplace. Well, we quickly found that the vent wasn’t open in the chimney. And after only a minute the whole house was just CLOWDED in a thick smoke. I opened the fireplace and poked at the vent but shortly after the vent fell shut again. Mom took the baby outside while the kids opened all the windows and doors. The house was really smoky now so Dad gave it a try. He took the poker and jammed it up on the vent and pushed it all the way open. Finally the smoke started to vent out. And after a while the house was pretty clear but everything smelt like smoke. In all of that, I wondered, why didn’t I hear a smoke alarm? I don’t think there’s a single smoke alarm in that whole house, ha! But at last, the house was clear and the rest of the family was home and sorta curious about the strange smell. Ha, wasn’t me. :D

They have two boys, Jason 17 and Josh 15. They’re pretty fun. We hung out ‘til I think, 11:30. Then, it was time to leave. By this time I was pretty beat! We got back and watched something on the History channel and before I knew it we were settling for bed around 1:30 AM. I’m sure you can imagine how tired I was. And to top it off, I had to get up at 8:00 AM and wake everyone up so we could get ready for the main event. After setting my alarm (on my sweet BlackBerry), I bunkered down and fell fast asleep, as they say, but only to hear my annoying alarm sounding off in what only seemed 5 minutes. Drat, it was already 8:00 AM and time to get showered and ready to go. We needed to be at the “rally” at 10:00 AM, which is where we met Spunky and the girls (there’s 4 of them – the boys couldn’t make it). It was pretty fun. I thought it was going to be rather boring but I enjoyed it. We got to hear a ton of “important” people.

These are the signs the organization told us to hold up because we (Spunky’s kids and us kids) were to be in all the press or media related background shots. There were about 700 people at this event. So we were posing for the photographers for part of that time. One reporter interviewed Mom as she snapped photos of SusannaBanana - the event’s youngest attendee. Boy did Sus look cute! And she behaved pretty well too! (Mom missed half of Stossel and half of McCain though)

Julia is in the red (right) with her friends. Kristin Braun (Spunky Jr.) is in the foreground here - far left. Levi is to the right of her in the camo sweater.

I’m in the back there, with Levi.

Mitt Romney. Luke got to shake his hand (twice). I too shook his hand. My dad put a copy of TOS Magazine in the hands of Mrs. Romney.

This is John Stossel (20/20). Remember that cool story he did on TV about homeschooling?

John McCain. No comment about his speech.

Susani likes to stare (and grin) at Mommy.

After all the excitement we said goodbye to the Brauns and left for home. Man, was I tired!

We had to rush back home because we had a gentleman from out of the country coming overnight to our house the following weekday. The whole trip was very spontaneous and fun.

And, moving on to my 3rd and final subject for this post…

It was Eric Novak’s birthday two days ago (the 22nd)! Yay! Happy birthday, Man.

He’s the big “1” “7”! Ha, so we are the same age for exactly 2 months. Then, I turn 18 and he’s back to being a little kid. Haha! (Sorry, Dude)

:D

Aaaand…

Yesterday was Dad’s birthday! Happy birthday, Dad! You’re 50, which is kinda old but that’s ok ’cause we’re planning a surprise party for you!

Have a good night everyone!

So, It’s 2008; What a Good Kick-Off…

Friday, January 4th, 2008

First I wanted to state, I found it funny that I got quite a few comments saying you knew someone that dropped their phone in the toilet. As if that’s worse than dropping it in the washer. A zapped phone is a zapped phone.

Although, I s’ppose, I’d rather retrieve the zapped phone from the washer than the toilet. I’m allergic to those yellow latex gloves and even more so, to the clear ones. So, yes I guess, I am slightly luckier than your grandma *coughs too*, friend, you, dad’s friend (McLeans), and so on…

All that to say, thanks for the fuzzy comments; they somehow made me feel better. :D

Actually, moving on to point two, I feel quite a bit better about my phone situation, for I now have the king of phones! This is the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition and it’s AWESOME! It’s not only a phone but also has high speed Internet (1.5-mbps) that I’m able to access anywhere I have a regular cell signal. Now all my emails drop down into it. I can IM on both my MSN and YIM. And it has a pretty nice mobile browser, among other things such as:  office programs, games (ha), a REALLY nice media center, Google and Yahoo maps, stereo bluetooth, and a lot more.

I’m really pleased with it. I went back and forth between some of the BlackBerrys and Windows Mobile 6.0 devices. BlackBerry (especially this one) is WAY better. The only thing I think I’d like to see on it would probably be a camera. Nope, no camera. Bummer. But this thing really was made and designed for strict office use (even though it has a fantastic media player - music, movies, pictures, and ring tones) which is perfect for me. The tools on this BlackBerry (BB) have really allowed me to take a lot of my work mobile. So, God has blessed me with another phone AND I didn’t have to put on the gloves and reach on down. Win! Win!

:D

Look this over. It’ll give you a 360 of the BB and the specs.

This is pretty funny. Check this out, too:

Here are some cool shots of my new toy:

Hmm, I don’t really understand this one… Ha!

Third point, my Top Comment thing on my sidebar started over since it’s the new year. So, if you’ve always wanted to be top commenter (yeah right), now’s your chance! :P

And my last point in the post. Oh yeah, the New Year!

We really had a great time kicking the New Year off. The Sensenigs, Baughns, and Ryans all came over. The house was pretty packed. Mr. Sensenig is like a master pianist. So after dinner (which was AWESOME - Mom made tostadas), we all went into the living room and sang while Mr. Sensenig played piano. Mr. Sensenig knew how to play just about any song we threw at him. He is excellent.

Here are few videos and pictures:

[STILL WORKING ON UPLOADING THE VIDEOS]
After that, we all prayed the New Year in. It was all a lot of fun. I think we went to bed around 3:30am.

:D

Anyhow, I really have to go. Sorry it took me so long to post.

I will reply to your comments as soon as I get the chance.

EDIT: If you are having trouble viewing this blog through HSB, Please go to: www.PaulsBlogging.com.

Thank you all for your comments. I’ll reply to them as soon as I can (sorry).

The baby and Mom are now home and doing great! They just came from a pediatrics appointment - Susanna has gained a whole ounce (applause)! She’s now 5 lb, 10 oz’s.

I’ll be posting more videos of her and the rest of the family soon.

Right now, I’d like to post a good reason to have a FaceBook. My next post will be negative against FaceBook. By the way, never start a FaceBook or any other blog without checking with your parents first if you are underage and/or still under their roof.

I was on my FaceBook the other day, which is something to blog about in and of itself since I never get on there (sorry guys). And I was playing one of the games on there. I think it was the Acbucks Pubdarts. Anyhow, it was a game with a little chat room convo underneath. Well, I couldn’t figure the dumb game out so I thought I’d join the convo with a nice icebreaker like:

Hello, does anyone believe in Heaven? Will we go there when we die?

Well, as you may know, FaceBook was/is invented and used by college-aged kids. And all they’re concerned about is what they can get out of life and such. Who wants to talk about anything after wonderful life? Boring…

Though, to my surprise, I got a few responses. I was sorta figuring they’d all blow me off but I got a few, “ah, it’s too late at night for that man,” and, “you shouldn’t think about death. They put guys like you in rehab for thinking about death all the time…” and, “why do you ask? Gonna come kill me?” and, fortunately, “yeah sure, heaven is that place I’ll go when I die.”

Haha, seriously. I got replies of every kind. Well, as the chat when on, I found that most everyone blocked me but a few. One girl was saying that she believed in heaven and, of course, earth. But not hell or God. So I asked her. “Who made heaven? It obviously didn’t get here by chance like some think the earth did.” She wasn’t quite sure how to answer so I continued to talk. “Who made you?” She replied, “my mom.” “Hahaha, right, and her mom made her and her mom made her and so on… but that didn’t go on forever. So it all had to have started with someone. But who? Someone made the first Mom and Dad.” Well, as this went on, she finally admitted that there must be a God of some kind but promptly had to go shortly after. Which was quite unfortunate. I was glad when I asked Eric to jump into the convo with me and he did. Two ganged up on one is always better.

:D

Well, I had similar conversations with a few other people but they either ended with them blocking me or them telling me to get a life and stop talking to them. Hahaha, not too many showed a very gainful interest. That is, no one but one guy.

His name is C*******. He doesn’t believe in a God or a Hell. But he does believe in Heaven. Who created his Heaven? He himself!

He says he has never sinned (unfortunately, I don’t have that convo where he says that). Never! He has never lied or stolen or hated.

He is from Asia somewhere and his English is excellent, considering.

He is 17.

After a short time of explaining his beliefs and telling us to remember them, he had to go. But he wanted to contact me again; this is good news.

So, I gave him my Y! And the very next day…

Yahoo! Messenger (11/20/2007 3:03:54 PM): C******* has joined the conference.

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:04:17 PM): Hello

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:04:21 PM): Yay

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:04:24 PM): It worked

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:04:25 PM): hey how are you doing dude?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:04:36 PM): fine

C******* (11/20/2007 3:04:44 PM): how bout you?

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:04:51 PM): I’m doing good

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:05:17 PM): found some fun stuff for you last night

C******* (11/20/2007 3:05:24 PM): what is that?

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:05:31 PM): hold on, let me paste them in

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:06:24 PM): This is really neat; it proves that there was a maker of the universe

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:06:26 PM): 1). Gravity is roughly 10.39 times weaker than electromagnetism. If gravity had been 10.33 times weaker than electromagnetism, “stars would be a billion times less massive and would burn a million times faster.” 2). The nuclear weak force is 10.28 times the strength of gravity. Had the weak force been slightly weaker, all the hydrogen in the universe would have been turned to helium making water impossible! 3). A stronger nuclear strong force (by as little as 2 percent) would have prevented the formation of protons – yielding a universe without atoms. Decreasing it by 5 percent would have given us a universe without stars.

C******* (11/20/2007 3:06:55 PM): I don’t think that is funny

C******* (11/20/2007 3:07:13 PM): I mean that is not fun

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:07:20 PM): lol, it is not supposed to be funny, it is supposed to be neat, look at it dude

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:07:26 PM): Haha, wow that is really interesting

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:07:37 PM): if anything had been off by a tiny bit, we wouldn’t be here!

C******* (11/20/2007 3:07:38 PM): swt…

C******* (11/20/2007 3:07:47 PM): maybe I’m not in your world

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:07:52 PM): well, that is quite amazing

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:08:11 PM): Ha-ha, well, sense we know you are…

C******* (11/20/2007 3:08:15 PM): lol

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:08:17 PM): Chris, we know you are in our world

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:08:19 PM): …there is no point in going there Dude

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:08:37 PM): so,

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:08:43 PM): looking above

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:08:48 PM): what do you think of that?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:08:58 PM): that is normal

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:09:03 PM): ha

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:09:08 PM): it’s amazing

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:09:11 PM): tell me

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:09:20 PM): how did that come to being?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:09:20 PM): that is normal

C******* (11/20/2007 3:09:33 PM): lol

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:09:34 PM): how did everything get placed the way it is?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:09:37 PM): chance?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:09:53 PM): no

C******* (11/20/2007 3:10:07 PM): it is because it should be like that

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:10:10 PM): So, someone put it all there?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:10:16 PM): impossible

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:10:18 PM): it got there some how

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:10:21 PM): Space, earth

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:10:28 PM): it didn’t always exist

C******* (11/20/2007 3:10:32 PM): if someone can do so why don’t he wanna do it to another planet

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:10:55 PM): uh?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:11:04 PM): he did that to the whole universe

C******* (11/20/2007 3:11:05 PM): just make it happen on earth

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:11:15 PM): the whole physical realm

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:11:29 PM): was created by a being much more powerful than us

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:11:39 PM): God

Eric and I had established a relationship with this guy. He was interested to hear what we had to say. I was so glad that he had questions. He couldn’t understand how it is possible for “a god” to exist (I like how Eric threw these neat little facts in). So we went on to chat further…

C******* (11/20/2007 3:11:44 PM): So, how big is He?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:11:54 PM): size?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:11:57 PM): yes

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:12:09 PM): you are thinking in a physical mindset

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:12:14 PM): did you know that if you stretched out your DNA in a line it would reach to the sun and back 48 times? Chance couldn’t have made it

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:12:43 PM): Does the actual size of God matter?

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:12:46 PM): that is 45,000,000,000 miles of DNA!

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:12:51 PM): he is in charge of everything

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:12:53 PM): he made it all

C******* (11/20/2007 3:13:02 PM): no

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:13:02 PM): he is obviously powerful enough

C******* (11/20/2007 3:13:08 PM): it happens in chance

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:13:31 PM): ah, so it all happened by chance

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:13:33 PM): ?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:13:36 PM): hmm

C******* (11/20/2007 3:13:38 PM): yes

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:13:48 PM): wow takes a lot of faith to believe that

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:14:15 PM): dude, you have 120 million rods and 7 million cones in one square inch behind your eye. How many times can you roll dice and it make that?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:14:16 PM): ok

C******* (11/20/2007 3:14:17 PM): it is true

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:14:26 PM): so let’s just say chance set everything just the way it is

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:14:31 PM): then,

C******* (11/20/2007 3:14:57 PM): but eyes grow naturally

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:15:02 PM): how did the material

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:15:06 PM): get here?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:15:08 PM): get made?

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:15:17 PM): right

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:15:21 PM): if chance poisoned it all right

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:15:32 PM): where did chance get the “stuff”

I think I made the mistake of talking too much; I should have let him lead the convo more.

So, even though I didn’t get my last question answered, we (Eric and I) let him take the convo.

C******* (11/20/2007 3:15:33 PM): I feel so upset

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:15:39 PM): you do?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:15:41 PM): you keep asking me question

C******* (11/20/2007 3:15:55 PM): and I’ve got a lot of question wanna ask too

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:15:56 PM): Well man, that is your conscience moving in you

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:15:56 PM): well, buddy, you asked me a lot of questions

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:16:00 PM): we’re just talking

C******* (11/20/2007 3:16:06 PM): as I follow what you guys said

C******* (11/20/2007 3:16:14 PM): I think of the God

C******* (11/20/2007 3:16:22 PM): and a lot of question exist

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:16:33 PM): ok, ask away, we can tell you

C******* (11/20/2007 3:16:36 PM): and I still cannot find the answer

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:01 PM): (but remember, you haven’t answered about the beginning of time and the existence of the physical realm)

C******* (11/20/2007 3:17:02 PM): you know any priest or someone who had more understanding about god?

I could tell he was truly interested now! I when on to answer…

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:26 PM): we can help you with what we know

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:28 PM): ask us

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:32 PM): and we will try

C******* (11/20/2007 3:17:33 PM): 1st how can god exist?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:17:38 PM): who create god?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:45 PM): he has always existed

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:52 PM): it’s hard for us to think that

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:53 PM): way

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:58 PM): because we are man

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:17:59 PM): and man

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:18:07 PM): is used to a beginning and an end…

C******* (11/20/2007 3:18:12 PM): why he don’t wanna tell us in the bible?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:18:13 PM): …so we think everything is like that

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:18:17 PM): which is true

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:18:26 PM): that is the sate of the physical realm

C******* (11/20/2007 3:18:29 PM): than how he exists

C******* (11/20/2007 3:18:44 PM): why?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:18:51 PM): God may not answer every question

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:19:01 PM): we may not be able to understand him

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:19:04 PM): not even I…

C******* (11/20/2007 3:19:11 PM): so how should I believe him

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:19:15 PM): …we can not defend Gods position…

C******* (11/20/2007 3:19:18 PM): if I’m doubt of him

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:19:18 PM): …we are man

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:19:27 PM): and only know as much as God has it

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:19:36 PM): God is spiritual not physical, spiritual stuff doesn’t have an end and beginning

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:19:50 PM): right

C******* (11/20/2007 3:20:08 PM): how can spiritual stuff create physical stuff?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:20:17 PM): only that, that is physical knows of and end and begining

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:20:26 PM): God is God

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:20:36 PM): he’s is all powerful

C******* (11/20/2007 3:20:42 PM): stop! End and beginning I don’t understand what are you talking about

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:20:52 PM): he created everything

C******* (11/20/2007 3:20:55 PM): my English is not that good enough

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:21:06 PM): Ok, I’m sorry

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:21:11 PM): what I mean

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:21:11 PM): is

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:21:17 PM): we are physical

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:21:23 PM): you know what I mean by that?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:21:28 PM): yes

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:21:34 PM): God is eternal. He had no origin. He is the everlasting I AM. No one “made” him. He simply IS.

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:21:37 PM): we are in this realm of atoms and matter and time

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:21:49 PM): right

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:21:59 PM): but all we know in this physical realm

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:22:01 PM): is

C******* (11/20/2007 3:22:04 PM): i don’t understand what is realm

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:22:08 PM): a beginging and an end

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:22:17 PM): we all were born and we will all die

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:22:32 PM): the earth was made and someday will be destroyed

C******* (11/20/2007 3:22:37 PM): so we’ll become spiritual?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:22:42 PM): (even evolutionists believe that)

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:22:47 PM): well

C******* (11/20/2007 3:22:52 PM): oh thank you

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:22:56 PM): there is one little part of us that is spiritual

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:23:06 PM): (our souls)

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:23:07 PM): and that’s what sets us apart from animal

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:23:12 PM): we have a soul

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:23:14 PM): yes

C******* (11/20/2007 3:23:16 PM): I feel sad you say something not responsible at all

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:23:18 PM): and it IS us

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:23:23 PM): our minds

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:23:29 PM): will not cease to exist

C******* (11/20/2007 3:23:31 PM): I think you better find a priest to talk to me

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:23:39 PM): only our physical bodies

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:23:51 PM): am I not making sense?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:24:01 PM): yes

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:24:04 PM): haha

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:24:05 PM): ok

C******* (11/20/2007 3:24:15 PM): you just told me something not responsible at all

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:24:16 PM): I apologize

C******* (11/20/2007 3:24:20 PM): no

C******* (11/20/2007 3:24:26 PM): is not your false

C******* (11/20/2007 3:24:35 PM): I understand what you feel

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:24:36 PM): ok, what did I say

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:24:43 PM): that you do not know?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:24:58 PM): something I’ve experience it

C******* (11/20/2007 3:25:06 PM): and you said it not true

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:25:11 PM): ok

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:25:15 PM): what is that?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:25:16 PM): what would that be?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:25:28 PM): I think I better end this convo

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:25:34 PM): oh, no

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:25:37 PM): please don’t

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:25:40 PM): I will listen

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:25:41 PM): please man

C******* (11/20/2007 3:25:53 PM): no, you saying something not true

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:25:55 PM): explain my fault?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:26:08 PM): what part?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:26:11 PM): so that I will know?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:26:19 PM): you’ll get more understand only you experience it

C******* (11/20/2007 3:26:26 PM): sorry I’m going to leave

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:26:30 PM): ok

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:26:33 PM): before you do…

C******* (11/20/2007 3:26:40 PM): you guys are never consider of what I told

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:26:45 PM): …just let me know what I said wrong

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:26:53 PM): so I’ll know for next time

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:26:54 PM): what did you tell us?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:26:59 PM): this would be doing me a favor

C******* (11/20/2007 3:27:02 PM): yesterday

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:27:13 PM): oh

C******* (11/20/2007 3:27:18 PM): you said you’ll consider of what is said

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:27:21 PM): right about wasting electricity?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:27:24 PM): yes

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:27:26 PM): I remember

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:27:32 PM): yep, we remember

C******* (11/20/2007 3:27:34 PM): that is not the main thing

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:27:43 PM): please tell us again

C******* (11/20/2007 3:27:56 PM): I don’t wanna waste my time here

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:28:08 PM): but it would be doing me a favor

C******* (11/20/2007 3:28:11 PM): priest and bible will tell you everything you want

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:28:12 PM): so I know next time

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:28:17 PM): it would be right of you

C******* (11/20/2007 3:28:28 PM): and they will explain to you

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:30:33 PM): why should we lie to you?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:30:36 PM): for our benefit

C******* (11/20/2007 3:30:37 PM): you can remember it yourself

C******* (11/20/2007 3:30:44 PM): I told you already

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:30:47 PM): because you should want to share your beliefs

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:30:56 PM): but you say that we don’t remember

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:31:00 PM): so tell us again

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:31:07 PM): and we will listen to your teaching

C******* (11/20/2007 3:31:09 PM): that mean you didn’t consider of it

C******* (11/20/2007 3:31:16 PM): that why you forgot

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:31:23 PM): actually

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:31:35 PM): but you say we did

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:31:41 PM): let’s not go in circles

C******* (11/20/2007 3:31:49 PM): ok

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:31:51 PM): just teach us and we will listen to you

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:31:51 PM): SO if you think we forgot, then tell us again

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:32:01 PM): right

C******* (11/20/2007 3:32:08 PM): ok I trust you

Ok, we almost lost him there. Haha, he’s talking about the other night on Facebook. He told us some of his beliefs and told us to remember them. This was the time to let him take the convo wherever he wants.

C******* (11/20/2007 3:32:24 PM): tell me what I told you yesterday

C******* (11/20/2007 3:32:34 PM): so I can see what you’ve forgot

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:32:45 PM): sounds good

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:32:56 PM): You talked about

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:33:02 PM): heaven being the thoughts

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:33:06 PM): ok, you told us that we are ruining the earth by using too much electricity

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:33:18 PM): and that you will go to heaven and that you create heaven as you think it

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:33:19 PM): and when you die, you go to heaven in peoples minds

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:33:28 PM): right

C******* (11/20/2007 3:33:36 PM): that’s all?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:33:36 PM): and that we should take care of the earth

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:33:40 PM): and I agree

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:33:46 PM): and that even bad memories are in heaven

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:33:53 PM): experience makes your heaven

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:33:55 PM): and that there is no hell

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:33:56 PM): and teaches you

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:33:58 PM): or a God

C******* (11/20/2007 3:34:06 PM): if you agree why you’re still here wasting the electricity

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:34:16 PM): for the same reason you are

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:34:20 PM): to talk to you

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:34:31 PM): this could impact each others for the rest of our lives!

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:34:33 PM): right?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:34:50 PM): I’m here because i don’t belief god

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:35:00 PM): and I’m here cause I do

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:35:01 PM):

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:35:10 PM): and i’m here to listen to you

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:35:14 PM): and I’m here because I want to talk to both of you! lol

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:35:15 PM): to hear what you believe

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:35:19 PM): haaha

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:35:44 PM): I want to hear what you believe, and think

C******* (11/20/2007 3:35:56 PM): I said you guys are wasting electricity and pollute the earth that mean you guys are not respect what god had make for us

Eric Novak (11/20/2007 3:36:07 PM): right, which is what I said you said

C******* (11/20/2007 3:36:14 PM): yea

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:36:22 PM): but, tell me

C******* (11/20/2007 3:36:23 PM): but I don’t believe god

Paul Suarez: who told you it pollutes the earth?

C*******: so I don’t need to save electricity and respect the thing God make

Paul Suarez: by being on the computer

Paul Suarez: it is not a waste if you pay for it and use it.

Paul Suarez: the factories that make my electricity

C*******: but same you pollute the earth

C******* that mean you’re not respect what god gv

Paul Suarez: are Dams, wind mills, and

Paul Suarez: I’m not sure how they make electricity

Paul Suarez: over there

Paul Suarez: but

Eric Novak: over here

C*******: you want to make dams, wind mill

C*******: you need material

C*******: you need to cop the tree

C*******: and make pollute

Paul Suarez: tell me, do you think that we should all stop using electricity?

C*******: yes

C*******: if you believe god

C*******: and you respect what god had gave you

Paul Suarez: do you think the USA uses too much electricity?

Paul Suarez: now tell us all your teachings

C*******: let me finish it

Paul Suarez: ok

Paul Suarez: I am listening to you

C*******: IF you believe God, you need to appreciate what god had give you ( earth), and…

C*******: and when you using electricity, you’ll pollute the earth

C*******: and

C*******: once you pollute the earth, that mean you’re not respect what god had gave you

C*******: and

C*******: you pay for the electricity and they make electricity it is same like you pay to make electricty

C*******: and you pay to pollute the earth

Eric Novak: that’s it?

C*******: I haven’t finished

Eric Novak: ok

C*******: I’ll tell you if I’m finish

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:49:18 PM): because we burn coal or whatever

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:49:28 PM): do some research on the internet

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:49:31 PM): and you’ll see

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:49:39 PM): the rain cleans the earth

C******* (11/20/2007 3:49:51 PM): how about the desert?

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:49:55 PM): the global warming is a natural cycle of the earth

C******* (11/20/2007 3:50:06 PM): no

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:50:10 PM): the media is only recently freaking out about it

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:50:20 PM): making it seem like a bigger deal

C******* (11/20/2007 3:50:46 PM): when you use pollute the earth it make it happen faster

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:50:52 PM): as you pollute the ground

C******* (11/20/2007 3:50:57 PM): and make it unbalance

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:51:01 PM): the ground will break it down

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:51:06 PM): as you pollute the air

C******* (11/20/2007 3:51:08 PM): people cannot stand the change too fast

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:51:15 PM): it’ll be cleaned by the rain

C******* (11/20/2007 3:51:20 PM): no

C******* (11/20/2007 3:51:30 PM): the CO2 is still there

C******* (11/20/2007 3:51:38 PM): only the dust can be clean

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:51:42 PM): “man” is too insignificant to make a global difference

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:51:47 PM): don’t you understand that

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:52:00 PM): the earth is huge our sky is huge

C******* (11/20/2007 3:52:08 PM): sorry i cannot talk to you anymore

C******* (11/20/2007 3:52:10 PM): you are too christian

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:52:11 PM): we are too small to make a difference on it

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:52:19 PM): it’ll go in its natural cycle

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:52:23 PM): we can’t stop that

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:52:26 PM): we can’t help that

C******* (11/20/2007 3:52:38 PM): we have generation gap although we are in same age

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:52:41 PM): the little bit that we “pollute” is nothing

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:52:52 PM): the news wants you to think it is tough

C******* (11/20/2007 3:52:54 PM): no it makes sense

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:53:16 PM): the news is trying to make you believe these lie’s, Dude

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:53:33 PM): I think we should take care of what god has given us

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:53:45 PM): you heard this lie from somewhere

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:53:54 PM): from tv

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:54:01 PM): from book

C******* (11/20/2007 3:54:04 PM): that is one of my experience

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:54:16 PM): you only know of this not because you have experienced it

C******* (11/20/2007 3:54:19 PM): i do experiment on it

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:54:22 PM): but only because you were told

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:54:40 PM): it’s true that you’ve experienced hoter days or whatever

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:54:44 PM): but that is natural

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:54:57 PM): and we are WAY off the subject

C******* (11/20/2007 3:55:04 PM): we’re here is always hot

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:55:16 PM): ah

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:55:36 PM): but we as people are too small for that to be our fault

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:55:46 PM): that is a natural cycle of the earth

C******* (11/20/2007 3:55:49 PM): but once we do that together

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:55:54 PM): in another few hundred years

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:56:00 PM): it might be an ice age over there

C******* (11/20/2007 3:56:01 PM): we’re become bigger for the earth

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:56:19 PM): I’m say “man”, in whole

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:56:22 PM): put togetter

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:56:34 PM): we do not affect the massive earth that much

C******* (11/20/2007 3:56:36 PM): the ice age will really happen

C******* (11/20/2007 3:56:41 PM): but you make it faster

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:56:46 PM): you have heard this lie from wrong people

C******* (11/20/2007 3:56:55 PM): not wrong people

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:56:57 PM): you should research it and look at both sides your self

C******* (11/20/2007 3:57:13 PM): my grandmother tell me from dream

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:57:19 PM): I do not make it any faster

C******* (11/20/2007 3:57:25 PM): you do

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:57:29 PM): natural

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:57:43 PM): it’ll happen by itself, Dude

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:57:52 PM): natural

C******* (11/20/2007 3:57:57 PM): btw you’re not really understanding the bible

C******* (11/20/2007 3:58:02 PM): go back and read more

C******* (11/20/2007 3:58:05 PM): reputably

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:58:06 PM): haha,

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:58:10 PM): have you?

C******* (11/20/2007 3:58:32 PM): of coz I didn’t

C******* (11/20/2007 3:58:36 PM): I mean I did

paulsuarez1 (11/20/2007 3:58:38 PM): it says God made the earth

Anyhow, it went on and on and for a moment there, it just felt like a big lousy argument. Going back and forth with this guy but finally, it rounded off.

It was great to be able to talk to this kid. He was willing to hear our views with an open mind.

And as you can see, it all ended well.

C******* (11/20/2007 4:26:20 PM): coz you’re young

C******* (11/20/2007 4:26:27 PM): at least you’re genius

C******* (11/20/2007 4:26:28 PM): lol

Paul Suarez (11/20/2007 4:26:32 PM): hahahah

Paul Suarez (11/20/2007 4:26:42 PM): well, you are very smart yourself

C******* (11/20/2007 4:27:11 PM): so tell me when you start to write those thing

I thank God for the chance that Eric and I had to witness to him. And now that he is on my Yahoo IM, I can talk to him more often.

He hasn’t started an HSB blog yet. But says he will soon.

If any of you have a FaceBook, let me know and maybe we can do a group witness of some kind.

Thanks for reading this LONG entry. This may be the longest you’ve ever stayed on my blog in one period, no?

:D

What I’ve Been Up To

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

EDIT: There are a few videos that are uploading. I’ll put them in the post as soon as they’re done.

I am working on two long entries but they won’t be done for a while

So, I wanted to write a quick update.

But, what about?

What should I blog about? Do what everyone else is doing and write about Thanksgiving? Why do we have one day dedicated to giving thanks? I heard on the news that this will be a day of mourn for some. It is a day of mourn because the first thanksgiving was started when “the white man” tricked the Indians into selling Mana-hattan Island for only 24 bucks or something crazy like that. Mana-Hattan, that’s what the Indians used to call present day Manhattan.

…the sale of land was so unprofitable to the Indians.

Could they have been systematically defrauded by the English? If, in enough cases, the

English tricked the Indian into signing contracts, or failed to fulfill the promises they made

in exchange for land, or wrote deeds that intentionally described the land in question

ambiguously or incorrectly, they might have obtained North America without paying

adequate compensation. Could the Indians’ poverty have been the result of pervasive

deceit on the part of the English?

Hmm, people have messed it all up. The thought, of Thanksgiving being a day of mourn is… well, what do you think about that?

This is a great day (like any other) to praise and thank God for all that he has given us.

The English showed thanks to the Indians for helping them and teaching them about the new land (plants, animals, geography, and so on…) and to God for their safe trip and the new land.

But, I don’t really want to blog about thanksgiving as a holiday.

So, going back to my original question, what should I blog about. Well, I was asking Eric and he said that I should pick something totally random and swing off that. Like, some bubble gum I found under my chair. You want to hear about that? Didn’t think so… Hahah, he thought a great topic would be about his old broken flash bulb on his nice camera… Why would I want to blog about that? Well, it looks like I am… It’s actually kinda interesting. He was in Washington DC right next to the subway. He took a picture and the flash light bulb blew up! Making a bright flash and a loud noise. So, all the other passengers jumped for cover… haha; actually, they all just looked at him thinking he was going to fire another shot.

Haha, not a whole lot to say. Well, I told you; it’s just a little updater.

So, I better start updating you all.

My computer has a shell32 infection and a worm in the form of a “.dll” file… great! Time to either fix this computer or get a new one.

Mom is doing ok. She still has high blood pressure. At least the baby is nice and active. I can’t wait ‘til she’s here. A large part of our staff was up at our house a few weeks ago and threw mom ANOTHER shower. So now we have diapers, wipes, a changing table, a crib, a bouncy seat, a bunch of nice cozy blankets, a lot of cute clothes, socks, hats, I think some bottles, toys, diaper bag, and now I think we just need a stroller/car-seat combo.

Hahah, that’s a lot of stuff. At least we’re almost ready. She’ll be here in only a few weeks!

We went to Cade’s Cove about a week or so ago. It was a lot of fun. Cade’s Cove is a large figure eight that takes you all through the Smoky hills. We had a great time. Mrs. Wuehler was the last person to leave (from the staff meetings). So she got to come with us. But you won’t believe what we saw up there so I included this video to show you:

Pretty cool, huh?

I’ve been working a lot. I was rushing to get ready for college because I thought I’d try to squeeze in for the spring semester. Not enough time though. I’ll just wait for the Fall I think. I have several great classes in my portfolio. So we’ll see how that goes. My home school academy (Home Life Academy) has already signed my high school transcripts and issued me a high school diploma – I’m expecting it to come in the mail pretty soon here. Jolly! I’m finally graduated!

My HSB job is doing pretty well. I love doing tech support and site admin. I think Eric and I make a pretty good team. What do you think, Man?

My web development? Hmmm, it really has slowed down. I’ve been really busy. Haven’t had a lot of time. I’m not doing a very good job marketing www.BlogStatter.com either. Any ideas on how to get every HSB’er on there? Let me know and I’ll give you something! :D

I’m working on an online store. It’s been really hard. Hahaha, it’s taking me forever! I’ll release more details on it later. And I’m also working on another “top secret” site project. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. It’s going to be amazing when finished. It’s currently not presentable. But I’ll keep you updated!

Yesterday was Luke’s actual birthday!

He had a birthday party when the staff was here and last night he had another one with the Marcums!

Happy birthday, Luke!!!

He turned 16. And he has been studying his drivers book so he can get his permit tomorrow. For his birthday he got this really awesome electronic game called 20 Questions Pocket! You think of something, anything at all and it has 20 questions to figure it out.
It almost ALWAYS gets it right! It guessed rhubarb, halo, time, and Siberian tiger. We were only able to stump it once on, I think, “God”. It guessed “angel”. Haha, which was pretty close. After losing it says, “Ah, I lost. How human of me.”

Hahaha, we had a pretty good birthday with him at the Marcums’.

It was a fun day.

I wanted to quickly link to my friend, Tim. He wrote a very good entry on relationships. Take a look..

Hmmm, I think that’s everything for now. Like I said, I’ll be posting a few large entries soon. They’re pretty fun.

I thank God for HSB and all of you. Thank you, Friends.

Happy Thanksgiving. Safe travels!
