This is a sculpture I grew up looking at almost every day.
I have memories of when I was like two looking at this thing.
Anyhow, sorta a memory landmark.

that is neat that you get to see something you saw when you were little!
I love going to places I grew up in and look at all the things I remember!

No, Son, you may *not* climb the red thing for the 12th time today. NO CLIMBING THE RED THING. Get back in that carseat, you crazy two year old! (sigh – my baby boy is all grown up now. sob)

I live in Roseville, and I see the Red Thing ™ a lot. Supposedly if you look at it from above, it looks like a rose. (get it?) Most of us don’t have helicopters but we do have Google Earth. I’ll leave it as an exercise to the reader to go look at it in GE.
Well? Does it look like a rose to you?
