We Just Got Back
Man, we’ve been busy. Just got back from Atlanta where we had a sales meeting. On the way back from Georgia, we went to the Gonzalez’s for a birthday party. Stayed almost 8 hours. We played Capture the Flag, “Candy Treasure Hunt”(for the kids), and computer games! It was a lot of fun…
Today we have people over for lunch (and just hanging out)…the Baughns, good friends. Next weekend we’re at the Estabrooks’ again and then the next weekend two families coming out here from the west coast to stay five days. Crazy month. My birthday is next month - turning 18. Party planned. Anyone gonna be around our parts the third week of March? Let me know…Mom and Dad are cooking up a big BBQ party.
I’m shopping for a new laptop for Mom right now. Guess who gets her Dell? Yours truly. Finally I’ll have a decent set-up.
AnnaSusannaBanana is getting huge. Serious thighs. She gazes at all of us with her big grin. She just fell asleep…finally. She’s so fun. Did really well traveling to Atlanta, too. Here are some pics of her, below. Girl with the long hair is Julia of course (Susanna is over her shoulder).

Have you ever looked on dealcatcher.com for laptop deals? You can find all kinds of deals on there. I saw a decent Dell on there for $399 last week.

Your party sounds really neat. I already have some ideas for your present… but I’ll tell you one: you get to come HERE for your birthday! Doesn’t that sound like the BEST present EVER? Yeah, I totally know. :)
What do you want for dinner? what time will you guys get here? ok, ok, so no exact plans yet, but it would be AWESOME (and I only use that word when absolutely necessary)!
Well, I hope you guys find a good laptop for a good price… did you hear our laptop screen is cracked?! Wowzers, and I just spilled dr. pepper on the table next to it…. we might need another one soon too! lol

I went to the blog and finally saw the beautiful pictures, and I am now ready to make my first bid on purchasing suz: $6,545.00, paid half in beaver pelts and half in gold. She’s a sweetie and it’s quite obvious that her brother is crazy about her, so he may beat my first bid. But I’m not a quitter…
It’s tough for me to go to the blog, because I have dial-up (pay $5.00 a month) and it takes an hour to download anything with pictures; that’s why I just don’t mess around with the computer other than simple email (and an occasional picture). I was going to reply to his blog, but couldn’t see how to do it, and any time I clicked on anything, I’d have to wait another 10 minutes…. From the little I saw, it looks very well written, very well laid out, and interesting. Looks like he knows what he’s doing and comes across as a very loving, intelligent young man. I would have told him that, but like I said, didn’t see how to reply, and just took forever for my baby computer to accept it all. (from Grandpa Jim)

Like I told you, you should post pictures of your laptop.
I took OpenSuSE off of mine because it isn’t quite compatible enough. I’ve decided that Linux belongs on the PC. The Mac is the perfect hardware/software integration, and Linux just can’t compare.
You know, you should change the code on the comment box from “suse 10.2″ to “suse 10.3″
