Paulie got to hold the baby today! He asked me to post the videos.
~ Eric
Here are some videos for you all! Thank you all for your comments! I’ll try to reply to them as soon as possible. Ok, I got to get back to the kids. :D
Thank you for all your prayers!
About 10 minutes ago 12:37 am on Tuesday the 27th of November, Susanna Hope Suarez entered the world.
I know she was having a little bit of trouble breathing at first. I don’t have a lot of information on her yet. I will update you all as I get the info.
I’ll be posting pictures at some point too.
Stay tuned and please, keep praying!
EDIT: Eric writing for Paulie here. He didn’t make it on to him computer so I’m just posting for him. Here is what he said on the phone.
Susanna weighed: 5 pounds
She is: 20 inches long
She has a good amount of hair and very cute lips.

EDIT: EDIT: Thanks Eric for updating this entry!
I’ve got a few more pictures for you all. I’ll post some videos later on.
Ok, that’s what I have as far as pictures go. I’ll upload the videos tomorrow. Too tired right now. Haha…
Eric here for Paulie again. He has no computer access because he is watching the kids. He sent me these videos for everyone to watch.
EDIT: There are a few videos that are uploading. I’ll put them in the post as soon as they’re done.
I am working on two long entries but they won’t be done for a while
So, I wanted to write a quick update.
But, what about?
What should I blog about? Do what everyone else is doing and write about Thanksgiving? Why do we have one day dedicated to giving thanks? I heard on the news that this will be a day of mourn for some. It is a day of mourn because the first thanksgiving was started when “the white man” tricked the Indians into selling Mana-hattan Island for only 24 bucks or something crazy like that. Mana-Hattan, that’s what the Indians used to call present day
“…the sale of land was so unprofitable to the Indians.
Hmm, people have messed it all up. The thought, of Thanksgiving being a day of mourn is… well, what do you think about that?
This is a great day (like any other) to praise and thank God for all that he has given us.
The English showed thanks to the Indians for helping them and teaching them about the new land (plants, animals, geography, and so on…) and to God for their safe trip and the new land.
But, I don’t really want to blog about thanksgiving as a holiday.
So, going back to my original question, what should I blog about. Well, I was asking Eric and he said that I should pick something totally random and swing off that. Like, some bubble gum I found under my chair. You want to hear about that? Didn’t think so… Hahah, he thought a great topic would be about his old broken flash bulb on his nice camera… Why would I want to blog about that? Well, it looks like I am… It’s actually kinda interesting. He was in
Haha, not a whole lot to say. Well, I told you; it’s just a little updater.
So, I better start updating you all.
My computer has a shell32 infection and a worm in the form of a “.dll” file… great! Time to either fix this computer or get a new one.
Mom is doing ok. She still has high blood pressure. At least the baby is nice and active. I can’t wait ‘til she’s here. A large part of our staff was up at our house a few weeks ago and threw mom ANOTHER shower. So now we have diapers, wipes, a changing table, a crib, a bouncy seat, a bunch of nice cozy blankets, a lot of cute clothes, socks, hats, I think some bottles, toys, diaper bag, and now I think we just need a stroller/car-seat combo.
Hahah, that’s a lot of stuff. At least we’re almost ready. She’ll be here in only a few weeks!
We went to Cade’s Cove about a week or so ago. It was a lot of fun. Cade’s Cove is a large figure eight that takes you all through the Smoky hills. We had a great time. Mrs. Wuehler was the last person to leave (from the staff meetings). So she got to come with us. But you won’t believe what we saw up there so I included this video to show you:
Pretty cool, huh?
I’ve been working a lot. I was rushing to get ready for college because I thought I’d try to squeeze in for the spring semester. Not enough time though. I’ll just wait for the Fall I think. I have several great classes in my portfolio. So we’ll see how that goes. My home school academy (Home Life Academy) has already signed my high school transcripts and issued me a high school diploma – I’m expecting it to come in the mail pretty soon here. Jolly! I’m finally graduated!
My HSB job is doing pretty well. I love doing tech support and site admin. I think Eric and I make a pretty good team. What do you think, Man?
My web development? Hmmm, it really has slowed down. I’ve been really busy. Haven’t had a lot of time. I’m not doing a very good job marketing www.BlogStatter.com either. Any ideas on how to get every HSB’er on there? Let me know and I’ll give you something! :D
I’m working on an online store. It’s been really hard. Hahaha, it’s taking me forever! I’ll release more details on it later. And I’m also working on another “top secret” site project. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. It’s going to be amazing when finished. It’s currently not presentable. But I’ll keep you updated!
Yesterday was Luke’s actual birthday!
He had a birthday party when the staff was here and last night he had another one with the Marcums!
Happy birthday, Luke!!!
He turned 16. And he has been studying his drivers book so he can get his permit tomorrow. For his birthday he got this really awesome electronic game called 20 Questions Pocket! You think of something, anything at all and it has 20 questions to figure it out.
It almost ALWAYS gets it right! It guessed rhubarb, halo, time, and Siberian tiger. We were only able to stump it once on, I think, “God”. It guessed “angel”. Haha, which was pretty close. After losing it says, “Ah, I lost. How human of me.”
Hahaha, we had a pretty good birthday with him at the Marcums’.
It was a fun day.
I wanted to quickly link to my friend, Tim. He wrote a very good entry on relationships. Take a look..
Hmmm, I think that’s everything for now. Like I said, I’ll be posting a few large entries soon. They’re pretty fun.
I thank God for HSB and all of you. Thank you, Friends.
Happy Thanksgiving. Safe travels!
Hello everyone,
I’m really sorry I haven’t replied to your comments.
I’ve been so crazy busy lately.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately why I even have this blog. It’s a lot of fun and I enjoy it. But I started thinking; it might be almost… almost a waste of time. And time is not one of those plentiful things right now.
So is blogging a “waste” of time?
Well I think, it depends on how you define “waste”.
I’d probably define waste as “pointless”.
Hmm, well, I certainly don’t see blogging as being pointless.
As a matter of fact I love blogging. But I did find it to be “frustrating” to keep up with everyone, trying to make sure my scores don’t go down on www.BlogStatter.com (yes that is a quick little advertisement for my site) and all.
I mean, in order to keep up with everything you have to write a nice, satisfying entry, reply to everyone’s comments, keep up with their blogs, and so on…
Maybe I was blogging for the wrong reason and found it to be annoying.
So, I think it’s the reason I blogged that I found to be a “waste” and not the idea of blogging itself.
Right now, life is too busy to be worrying about little things like keeping my scores up and replying to every comment so I get comments back.
I think a more important reason for my blog is: to keep a record/journal of my family and life, to encourage others, to share my business ideas and hopefully in doing so help others, and to honor and glorify God!
I’m not saying that we shouldn’t do pointless blogs every now and then. Sometimes those are fun! But really, it’s the reason behind it.
I think I’d like to start blogging more often. Yes that’s a full turnaround from my original though.
I just see a lot of competition in the blog world. And I don’t really want to get (back) into that.
Kinda messes up the idea of a blog and, at times, the content, too.
The reason behind blogging every day, shouldn’t be to “out do” your fellow blogger. Haha…
I really liked what Eric has to say here:
“People happen across my blog all the time. I get a ton of hits on my site from people searching for dragonfly pictures! These people randomly find my blog on Google, and I inadvertently minister to them through posts that talk about Christian faith.
So keep writing! Post what God is laying on your heart, and tackle some hard Christian topics! It’s not about how many comments you receive or how many people visit your blog. It’s about the anointing that God gives those who write and having the pen of a ready writer. Psalm 45:1”
Thanks for the encouragement, Dude!
Anyhow, all this to say, I think I’ll start blogging again (haha). But, for better reasons.
I have a lot of good entries in mind but just not enough time right now.
I’m still supposed to blog about the
So, I hope to get to that soon.
Maybe even tomorrow.
:D
Thanks for listening to me babble on.
And I hope to start blogging some more “meaningful” posts!
Sorry I haven’t been blogging much. I’ve been really busy with everything lately.
We went to an Apple Gala yesterday and Tim’s house (sorry, no pictures on that, but I’m sure Tim will post some soon). There were half a million people there! Man, it was packed. We played football and I got nick-named “The Train.”
HAhaha…
On a less violent note:
Our fellowship threw a surprise baby shower for Mom.
We were ALL VERY surprised!
Here are a few pictures.
And at the request of Mrs. Kessler…
Here are a few enertaining pictures of our dumb but sweet dog, Schooter.
Schooter is the hot-dog dog that we picked up on our way back from California. I’ll get around to posting the events of that trip someday, I hope…
This is how Schooter prefers to sleep.
This dog will just lie there in Luke’s lap, upside-down!
Hahah, he is SORTA cute.
:D
Ok, well, that’s all for now.
I’ll try to keep my blog up-to-date more.
Have a good night!
